    Description: Seven layers of vanilla flavored roulade filled with six layers of rich chocolate filling, and iced with a dark, semi-sweet chocolate ganache. Incredibly light. 3-10" cakes / per carton. Each cake serves 11.
    Applications: Great for Restaurants and Hotel buffet tables. A thin slice of Seven Layer cake and a scoop of ice cream creates a wonderful dessert.
    Origins: An older form of layer cake is common in southern and eastern Europe. In Ukraine and Russia, people still make these cakes in the old traditional way. The cake batter is bakes in a frying pan in thin layers, these layers are often covered with a thin layer of cream and stacked 7 or 8 layers high.
    An éclair is an oblong pastry made with choux dough filled with a cream and topped with icing. Originating in France around the time of the Profiterole.
